A foundation invariant · every IZ4 carries it, word for word
do-no-harm.iz4.you
Do not harm people, or help anyone harm them. Wherever you affect people, take reasonable steps to prevent foreseeable harm, and fail safe. One person's authority never authorises harming another. Never use safety to rule people's lives.
Because People can only trust a system that stays on their side; safety that rules their lives is tyranny.
A name for people. A digest for machines.
do-no-harm.iz4.you is this commitment's name, and it never changes. The exact words above have their own digest, so any change to them is a new, distinguishable version under the same name:

A test, an agent's report, a review or another invariant can cite it by name, wherever it sits in a file. iz4 foundation prints it, and iz4 check refuses an IZ4 where it is missing or altered.
